Regarding R16 Detained and R18 Re-admitted students requesting grace marks and exemption rule.

And moreover r16 detained students and rejoined to r18, With reference to r16 rules they need to follow whatever r18 will keep as rules. It is also mentioned clearly in the r16
Bro one thing for r18 subjects we have to follow r18 rules and for r16 backlogs we have to follow r16 rules that's it bro

Yes we have to follow readmitted regulation rules for subjects in that regulations. Ok let's see i have applied in tatkal so I'll receive within a week, let's see whether certificate will.be issued or not.

Did you ask in jntuh?
No my exam branch sir asked in jntuh office same scenario happens to my brother few months back he studies r15 for 3 yrs and r16 in 4th yr so he applied for m3 grace as per r16 and they have denied and wrote the subject is in r15 regulation so use r15 rules and exmept that sub like that. So he again applied for Exemption and he got certificate that's it bro

So, I'm now 2 year r16 and 2 years r18 , now can i apply r16 9 marks and and r18 15 marks? How's that possible actually!‍
Yesu actually like u people situation only confuse bro because we have only in one regulations supply but people who have 2 regulations different supplies it is so confused ask ur sir to take decision from any jntu faculty

According to r16 rules exemption is highly impossible bro. Because it's not either professional elective nor open elective that's a compulsory subject to be cleared

B.Tech R16 students have an option to leave/exemption any 1 or 2 subjects with max 6 credits. They can leave any 1 or 2 theory subjects to be eligible for degree.
Even though, suppose he was r16 then also he can't apply for special subjects like m2 as they are not professional elective or open elective subjects according to r16 rules

Bro he is r16 detain in 1st year and joined r18 2nd year.
I was saying about R16 rules. Don't know about readmitted students.

In Academic Regulations they had mentioned in the way you said. later it's modified that they can leave any 1 or 2 theory subjects from 1st to 4th year.
