JNTUH Important Points to be noted while applying for grace marks
  • Grace marks can be added to any no.of theory subjects (irrespective of credits other than Major Project, Minor Project, Comprehensive Viva-Voce, Seminar) - For B.Tech (R18) 2018, 2019, 2020 Regular and 2019, 2020, 2021 lateral entry for the academic year 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 outgoing students only.
  • Grace marks can be added only to 1 or 2 subjects maximum. (irrespective of credits other than Major Project, Minor Project, Comprehensive Viva-Voce, Seminar)
  • Grace marks can be added only for external marks.
  • Grace marks can't be added to internal marks.
  • The best performance among all the external examinations shall be considered while giving the grace marks. i.e., you can use even your best previous result [Best external mark among all Regular/Supple exams till now] while applying for grace marks.
  • Students can apply for grace marks only after they get the original marks memos.
  • Tatkal Process not applicable for Grace Marks. You need to apply at college only for grace marks.
  • You can apply for grace marks any time. No such deadline or last date is applicable while applying for grace marks.

Apply for OD as mentioned in the following url. You will get the OD within 3 weeks after convocation is completed.

Hi i have applied for grace marks on 25th october, By when can i get a confirmation ?
And i need it urgently, if it takes a lot of time where and how can i request to process it faster ?
 
It might take 30 to 45 working days to process & issue the memos after you apply for grace marks. It totally depends on the no.of pending requests at JNTUH. Tatkal mode is not applicable for grace marks. You need to wait until you get the memos. You can't request to make it faster.

Thank you for your reply, I applied on 13th November, but the OD hasn't yet been dispatched.

I tried calling the number on the convocation site (I found it here), it's switched off.

I have also emailed a request on the email address mentioned on the same page.

Is there anything else I can do @Rahul ? It's been a month.

Applied in In-Convocation Mode right ? then you will get the OD after the convocation is completed. Still 11th Convocation schedule/date is not yet issued by JNTUH.
 
Brother i have 4 subjects in R15 and 4subjects in R16 can I apply Grace Mark's and subject exception both regulations in jntuh I was detained and promoted in 3rd year R15 to 4th year R16 please reply me
 
Can we only apply after the eligibility list is out or we can apply even before it ??

How many marks are allowed for grace marks R18 JNTUH For any subject we can apply or else ... I have one backlog MSF SUBJECT MARKS SCORED 9 MRAKS IN EXTERNAL.... CAN I ELIGIBLE FOR GRACE MARKS I NEED 17 NEEDED ....

Mention your marks in the subjects in which you want to apply for grace marks. Do mention total no.of backlogs do you have.
 
Bro what about r18 outgoing batch I have 4backlogs if I eligible if juntuh gives notification for r18 for both exemption and grace marks
 
R18 regulation students are eligible only for 30 grace marks [For Regular] & 23 [For lateral entry]. Exemption is not applicable for R18 batch. JNTUH wont give any notification regarding exemption for R18 students.

I am a r18 student I 0 in internals and 30 in external and I had one more backlog with 6 in internal and 30 in external
Am I eligible for applying grace marks for both the subjects please reply
