JNTUH Important Points to be noted while applying for grace marks
  • Grace marks can be added to any no.of theory subjects (irrespective of credits other than Major Project, Minor Project, Comprehensive Viva-Voce, Seminar) - For B.Tech (R18) 2018, 2019, 2020 Regular and 2019, 2020, 2021 lateral entry for the academic year 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 outgoing students only.
  • Grace marks can be added only to 1 or 2 subjects maximum. (irrespective of credits other than Major Project, Minor Project, Comprehensive Viva-Voce, Seminar)
  • Grace marks can be added only for external marks.
  • Grace marks can't be added to internal marks.
  • The best performance among all the external examinations shall be considered while giving the grace marks. i.e., you can use even your best previous result [Best external mark among all Regular/Supple exams till now] while applying for grace marks.
  • Students can apply for grace marks only after they get the original marks memos.
  • Tatkal Process not applicable for Grace Marks. You need to apply at college only for grace marks.
  • You can apply for grace marks any time. No such deadline or last date is applicable while applying for grace marks.

Brother I have one supply 4-1 r18 jntuh in regular I got 5 and supply I got 7 but I have only regular memo supply memo I did get so can I apply with 5 marks memo I mean regular or else should I take supply results Xerox and apply is it acceptable?
 
Yes if you are eligible you can apply even without the list. But most of the colleges are asking students to wait until the list it issued by JNTUH.

I am a student of the R18 regulation, 2024 passed out batch, and I have a query regarding the process of applying for grace marks. I have successfully qualified in the TSPGECET entrance exam, but I currently have two active backlogs.

Subject 1: 19 marks in internal and 17 marks in external exams.
Subject 2: 22 marks in internal and 16 marks in external exams.
I require a total of 19 marks to clear these backlogs.

My questions are:

1. If I apply for grace marks, will it be sufficient to clear my backlogs and make me eligible to participate in the TSPGECET counselling process, which is scheduled to start on 30th July 2024?

2. If not, is there any alternative way to resolve these backlogs in time for the counselling process?

I would appreciate any information and guidance on this matter.

Yes you are eligible for grace marks. If you apply for grace marks it might take 2 months to get the revised marks memos. You can apply for grace marks after eligible list is issued by JNTUH.
 
Hi bro , I recently completed my BTech I have 2 backlogs in my 3-2 and I am elgible for grace marks
1.i have small mistake in my surname and father surname , so i applied for sur name change through college by submitting my recent 4-2 regular hall ticket and 10th class certificate
So my question is in how many days my name will be get updated ? And how will I know whether my name is updated or not?

2. Should I pay my 3-2 supply fees and check my hall ticket to check whether my name updated or not
Or should I apply grace marks after a week bcz I am elgible ?

I request you to pls reply I am very stressed about rn

Did your name mentioned in the grace marks list ? Better to write the 4-2 exams. If your grace marks application is accepted then the marks of 4-2 exams will be nullified.

Bro notification release aeiii. 20 days avthundhi bro but nka grace marks eligible list release avaley .. please any update regarding grace marks eligible list ....apudu osthadhi
 
Few colleges are already accepting the grace marks applications for R18 2024 pass outs. once try to get the info from your exam cell staff. we will inform you if yet list is issued by JNTUH.
