JNTU-Hyderabad ( JNTUH ) In the University Order (3) read above, the University has approved for adding grace marks of 0.50% of total marks for any number of theory subjects for all R18 B.Tech 2021-22 & 2022-23 passed out students only as mentioned below:

There are several representations received from the B.Tech R18 students and their parents for adding the grace marks for all all Regular and Lateral entry students of R18 Regulations. In the present B.Tech R18 regulations there is no chance for subject exemption as it was available to B.Tech R15 and R16 Regulations.

In view of the above circumstances, the Vice-Chancellor is pleased to accord permission to the Director of University Examinations, JNTUH to add grace marks up to 0.50% of total marks for any number of theory subjects for all B.Tech R18 Regulations students (Regular and Lateral entry) as mentioned below:

Under the circumstances as stated above, the Vice-Chancellor is pleased to accord permission to the Director of University Examinations, JNTUH for adding the grace marks up to 0.50% for any number of theory subjects for all B.Tech R18 Regulations students (Regular and Lateral entry) (i.e maximum of 30 grace marks for regular and 23 grace marks for lateral entry students) and those who were admitted in previous regulations and completed final year in R18 regulations without subject exemption, who are eligible to get degree, subject to ratification by the Academic Senate /Executive Council.

These orders shall come into force with immediate effect for the students of JNTUH University Colleges, JNTUH Affiliated and Affiliated Autonomous Colleges.

Yes M2 is theory subject.

No fee is applicable to apply for grace marks. Colleges will collect small nominal amount for application fee. They won't refund the exam fee which you had paid already.

- is M2 (Mathematics- 2 ) considered for grace marks?
- after successfully applying for grace marks do we have any effect on the memos?? Like stars or something like that??

R19 regulation does not exist for B.Tech. Can u mention your year of admission and what's your query regarding grace marks.

No. It's combined marks of all subjects from 1st to 4th year assigned to all subjects by JNTUH. Like Theory subject is for 100 marks & labs 75 marks.

Any will it be different from orginal memos

If I apply grace marks for msf so in 30 marks 13 marks will be add to msf and clear then what about remaining 17 marks

As we are having 1-2 supply foR18 from 16th we paid exam fee we will write those exams and we will also apply grace marks
What happens if we pass exam?

If you clear M1 then you can apply for grace marks in M4.
If you clear M4 then you can apply for grace marks in M1.

Yes you need to clear one subject in-order to be eligible for exemption. Check once regarding grace marks for one subject.

It might take 2 months [depending on the no.of pending requests at JNTUH] to receive memos after you apply for grace marks.

They will add only 13 grace marks which you are required to clear/pass the subject. JNTUH will add only the no.of marks required for a student in a particular subject.

They will add only 13 grace marks which you are required to clear/pass the subject. JNTUH will add only the no.of marks required for a student in a particular subject.

I can either use grace marks for BEE,NNDL,OB or only for M2 will it work that way??

Also can you also tell if MSF is considered as theory or not?

marks get nullified in which you had applied for grace marks if application is accepted & grace marks are added.
