JNTUH Enhancement of Grace marks Revised for B.Tech R18 regulation students - July 2024

JNTU-Hyderabad ( JNTUH ) In the University Order (3) read above, the University has approved for adding grace marks of 0.50% of total marks for any number of theory subjects for all R18 B.Tech 2021-22 & 2022-23 passed out students only as mentioned below:

There are several representations received from the B.Tech R18 students and their parents for adding the grace marks for all all Regular and Lateral entry students of R18 Regulations. In the present B.Tech R18 regulations there is no chance for subject exemption as it was available to B.Tech R15 and R16 Regulations.

In view of the above circumstances, the Vice-Chancellor is pleased to accord permission to the Director of University Examinations, JNTUH to add grace marks up to 0.50% of total marks for any number of theory subjects for all B.Tech R18 Regulations students (Regular and Lateral entry) as mentioned below:

Under the circumstances as stated above, the Vice-Chancellor is pleased to accord permission to the Director of University Examinations, JNTUH for adding the grace marks up to 0.50% for any number of theory subjects for all B.Tech R18 Regulations students (Regular and Lateral entry) (i.e maximum of 30 grace marks for regular and 23 grace marks for lateral entry students) and those who were admitted in previous regulations and completed final year in R18 regulations without subject exemption, who are eligible to get degree, subject to ratification by the Academic Senate /Executive Council.

These orders shall come into force with immediate effect for the students of JNTUH University Colleges, JNTUH Affiliated and Affiliated Autonomous Colleges.

MSF - internal 21 - external - 10


I wrote BEE and yesterday in supply results I passed BEE so when will the list be updated?

And also will there be any different between normal memos and grace marks memos?

You require more marks than given 30 grace marks i think so.

Sir grace marks first list I'm not eligible for it becz it's not sufficient grace marks now after 1st year result I have passed now I have only 2sub ie (external)M1:13 ,COSM:16 internal(24 in both) now I'm eligible can I apply for grace marks or should I wait for 2nd list

Today finally my PC & CMM received by college also in JNTUH Student Services Portal my PC, OD & Migration and Medium Certificates are updated with portal and i applied from online.

So, within how many days i will receive my OD, Medium & Migration Certificate?

Also, once again thank you so much for all your help and info related to my queries and all your quick responses.

Finally! Completed my B.Tech (R16) !

Day 5: College submitted my application manually to JNTUH on 1st June 2024

Day 68: JNTUH Printed PC & CMM

Day 75: College recived PC & CMM from JNTUH

Day 77: JNTUH has updated Student Services Portal to apply for OD, Migration & for medium certificates. So, Applied Migration & Medium certificates.

So, it has taken me almost 77 days to get my PC & CMM after applying for Grace Marks & Subject Exemption for R16 (Regular Student).

Day 78: I received my PC & CMM from college and after verification of PC number on JNTUH Student Service Portal applied OD online

Day 79: I got my Migration & Medium certificates from JNTUH by DTDC (Courier / Post)

Day 87: I got my OD from JNTUH by Indian Post / DTDC (Courier)

So, this is my timeline and waiting period (Days) from applying Grace Marks & Subject Exemption (Regular Student of R16) to getting my all certificates from College & University.
