VTU Not Granted affiliation institutes for the academic year 2022-23
Visvesvaraya Technological University - VTU The University has not granted affiliation for the academic year 2022-23 for 1st year UG/ PG and 3rd sem. UG ( Lateral Entry) for the following four colleges as per the decision of the Executive Council.
1. Girijabai Sail Institute of Technology, Karwar
2. Achutha Institute of Technology, Bengaluru
3. Sri Vinayaka Institute of Technology, KGF
4. Sri Basaveshwar Institute of Technology, Tiptur
Hence, there will be no admissions permitted for these institutes for 1st year UG/PG and 3rd semester UG (Lateral Entry) for the academic year 2022-23.
However, in these Institutes, affiliation continues only for the higher semester viz. 3rd to 8th UG and 3rd to 4th PG Programmes with the existing strength of students in the institute, if any.
All the stake holders are hereby informed to note the same.
