VTU In continuation with the Government Orders No. RD 158 TNR 2020, dated 04-01-2022, 06-01-2022, and in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 24 (l) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, the undersigned, in the capacity of Chairman, State Executive Committee, hereby issues partial modifications to the aforementioned orders, as below, for strict implementation by the Chief Commissioner BBMP, Police Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Superintendents of Police of the districts, and other Heads of Departments and Authorities.
Addition of sub clause 6 (a) under Clause 6 of the additional containment measures: Sub-Clause 6(a): In Bengaluru Urban district, Institutes/Colleges affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) permitted to function strictly adhering to COVID appropriate behaviour.
Addendum to the Guidelines for weekend curfew : It is clarified that Offices of Advocates/Lawyers/law firms are permitted to function with 50% of their staff strength during weekends, strictly adhering to COVID appropriate behaviour. Movement of Advocates, lawyers and their staff is permitted on producing valid ID card issued by their respective offices.
