VTU Equivalence for the students who are seeking admission to the 3rd semester to 2021 scheme from 2017 and 2018 schemes during the academic year 2022 – 2023

VTU - Visvesvaraya Technological University In Pursuant to the aforesaid (ref 1) the following Equivalence criteria for the students who are seeking admission to the 3rd semester to 2021scheme from 2017 and 2018 schemes during the academic year 2022-2023 are notified as :

Further:

• The student has to mandatorily complete the additional courses mentioned above by satisfying CIE and SEE requirements for the award of a degree.
• The additional courses suggested for study and pass shall not be considered for vertical progression. However, the letter grades earned shall be considered for SGPA and CGPA and class declaration.
• The student who has changed the scheme of study shall not be considered for rank declaration or any academic medal.
• For 2017 scheme students seeking readmission to 2021 scheme, has already studied 17C1V28 Environmental studies as an audit course, however, now he/she shall have to study the same course if prescribed in any semester from 3rd to 8th for a credit.

Admission / Readmission to 4th semester and onwards : To continue the scheme studied upto previous semester and complete the degree in the same scheme. No change scheme from 4th semester and onwards. The college has to conduct parallel classes . No violation is permitted. if found, the colleges will be considered under Institutional Malpractice Regulations.
