Osmania University (OU) Notification - Call for Proposals under the Gender Budget Initiative and Guidelines

Osmania University (OU) Osmania University has launched the Gender Budget Initiative as one of the most significant institutional measures undertaken under the Visionary leadership of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor to promote gender equity, women’s empowerment, inclusiveness, safety, wellbeing, leadership development and equal opportunities across the University system. This initiative is the first of its kind in the history of Osmania University and reflects the University's commitment towards gender-responsive planning, resource allocation and institutional development.

In pursuance of the orders issued vide No. MR:264/1/2026/Adm.I-1, dated 30.05.2026, and the Guidelines and Modalities approved for implementation of the Gender Budget Initiative, proposals are invited from eligible University units for undertaking programmes and activities under various components of the Gender Budget.
