Osmania University ( OU ) B.E (AICTE-VIII-Semester/CBCS-VIII Semester & Non-CBCS IV/II) One Time Chance Examinations Notification - June 2026
Osmania University - OU It is hereby notified to all the concern that, the standing committee of the Academic Senate vide letter No. 297/M/Acad.- 1/2026, dated: 12.03.2026, has resolved to permit the B.E. (Non CBCS) IV/IV II Semester, (CBCS) VIII Semester and (AICTE) VIII Semester students to appear for their backlog papers, even after the stipulated period as a One Time Chance.
Hence, B.E. (Non-CBCS) students who have admitted from academic year 2000-2001 to 2015-16 in First year, B.E. Lateral entry students admitted directly into 2nd year during the academic years 2001-02 to 2016.17, BE (CBCS) students who have admitted in academic year 2016.17 & 2017-18 in First year , B.E. Lateral entry students admitted directly into 2nd year during the academic year 2017-18 & 2018-19 and B.E. (AICTE) students who have admitted in academic year 2018-19 & 2019-20 in First year , B.E. Lateral entry students admitted directly into 2nd year during the academic year 2019-20 & 2020-21 are eligible to appear in the ensuing examination, with a penal charges per paper, in addition to the normal examination fee, as a One Time Chance, with the existing syllabus/scheme.
The examinations will be conducted in the month of June-2026. The detailed time table will be issued in due course. This notification is meant for backlog candidates only. Fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted. Following is the schedule for the payment of examination fee and submission of examination application forms at the office of the concerned Principal of respective college(s).
The candidates have to appear the examination as per the existing scheme/syllabus.

Note :
1. The College login will be closed after the last date.
2. In case the fee is not remitted to the O.U. A/c. OR if online EAFs are not submitted on or before due date even if fees remitted into fund account within due date. (Late submission of forms by the College beyond the date prescribed attracts penalty @ Rs.1500/- per day and to be borne by the college)
3. Principals are requested not to forward/submit the EAF of Not Eligible Candidates, The results of Not Eligible candidates will be cancelled at any stage, if they write the examination.
4. Kindly take note of this and inform the concerned students accordingly.
