Osmania University ( OU ) 85th Convocation Notification
Osmania University - OU It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the 85th Convocation of Osmania University, for the conferment of Degrees, Diplomas, and Gold Medals upon candidates who have completed the Annual and Supplementary Examinations of all programs (including those offered through Distance Education) conducted during the academic year 2024-25, is scheduled to be held in the 2nd week of September, 2026. Ph.D. Degrees awarded from 7th August 2025 to 18th August 2026 shall also be considered for conferment at the Convocation.
All eligible Ph.D. candidates must submit their applications online via the University website (www.osmania.ac.in or https://convocation.osmaniaerp.corn) after paying the prescribed fee.
The schedule for payment of the prescribed fee and submission of online applications is set forth below:

General Instructions :
1.AII Ph.D. degrees, along with the Gold Medals for PG, M.Phil., and Ph.D. programs, shall be presented at the Convocation.
2. Gold Medals for UG programs shall be awarded at the respective colleges after the Convocation.
3. Candidates who have already obtained their Degree Certificates in absentia are ineligible to apply. Applications from such candidates will be rejected, and the fee paid will not be refunded.
4. Candidates who do not register for the Convocation must obtain their Convocation Certificates (Degrees) by mail.
5. All gold medal recipients, as per the published list for the 2024-25 academic year, should register and submit their applications online via the following link: www.osmania.ac.in or https://convocation.osmaniaerp.com.
6. The online application process will begin on 18th July 2026.
