Osmania University : Internal Assessment Test pattern For UG I Year (CBCS) 2016

As per the recommendations of the Committee constituted to oversee the implementation of Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) at undergraduate level which were approved in the Standing Committee of the Academic Senate at its meeting held on 05.08.2016 , the following is the pattern for the conduct of internal assessments for the courses B.A./B.Sc ./B.Com.(Gen .), B.Com.(Comp .) B.Com, B.Com. (Voe), B.Com. (Hons.) / BSW / BBA I Year under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) from the academic year 2016-17.

1. The pattern of internals consists three sections -

• Section I : Objective type (10 Multiple Choice Questions with 1/2 mark each,
• Section II : 10 Fill in the blanks each 1/2 mark) and
• Section III: 5 short answer questions with 1 mark each and 5 marks for assignment (one assignment only).

2. There will be two internal assessment tests per paper per semester without any retest. Average of the two will be taken.

All the Principals of the concerned colleges are hereby requested to strictly comply with the above pattern for the conduct of the Internal Assessment at the respective colleges.
