On which subjects we can apply for grade marks & which subjects we can apply for exemption?? R16

Hi, Please help, I am an R16 student, I only have 2 math subjects left for a long time. One from 1-2 SEM, and another from 2-1 SEM,

I am preparing now for M2 and M4, but I want a clarification that can I apply grace marks to M2 and M4, or Can I apply exemption for anyone subject from M2 and M4.

I have connected with the college exam branch but no proper reply.

you can use both grace and exemption
 
Hi @Shubamsam53 @Rahul , recently I came across a new issue. I asked in college and some other students who passed R16 in recents years. some said an exception cannot be applied to M2 or M4 subjects, as it was only during COVID times, and now it is removed, and they need to pass both subjects; there is no option for an exception on M2 and M3 R16. I wanted to leave M2 and work on M4, Please guide if it is possible to leave Both M2 and M4 or not.

You can apply for subject exemption or grace marks for any theory subject for R16.

So subject exemption can be applied to M2 or M4 subjects, correct?
I already paid tuition for M4, and after taking the hall ticket, I got this shocking information: exemption can't be applied to M2 or M4 because both are core subjects, and R16 regulation documentation also says it cannot be removed as both M2 and M4 are core/mandatory subjects that cannot be left using subject exemption.

Everyone said we can leave M2 or M4. Please help on this. If any link is available, please share to clarify that the subject exemption can be applied to M2 or M4 as well.
 
As per credit exemption of R16 you can apply for any 1 or 2 theory subjects [credits should be less than or equal to 6]. whether it may be core subject.

Can you clearly mention how many total no.of backlogs do you have now ? what are those subjects. mention to which year/semester does that subject belong to & no.of credits assigned for that particular subject.

R16 Regulation: only 2 subjects are pending to complete B.Tech

I have:

M2 from 1-2 Semester,
M4 from 2-1 Semester

M2: 4 Credits
M4: 4 Credits

Total: 8 Credits

Note: I am a regular student who joined in 2017 based on EAMCET rank in the 1st year, B.Tech.
