JNTU-Hyderabad ( JNTUH ) has recently released the results of the 1-1 semester of B.Tech. (R22 Regulation). About 16,000 students have failed in the results which were released on Saturday related to affiliated colleges. A total of 25,198 students registered for the exam but only 9,198 students passed in all subjects. 16,000 failed in one or more papers. The overall pass percentage is only 37.40%. Seeing these results, the parents of the students are worried about their children's future.

Meanwhile, due to the R22 academic regulations recently brought by the JNTUH Academic and Planning Department, 600 students missed the first semester exams. So these 600 students need to attend the examinations with the juniors next year.

As per JNTUH R22 Regulations :
  • The student is eligible to write Semester End Examination of the concerned subject, if the student scores ≥ 35% (14 marks) of 40 Continuous Internal Examination (CIE) marks.
  • In case, the student appears for Semester End Examination (SEE) of the concerned subject but not scored minimum 35% of CIE marks (14 marks out of 40 internal marks), his performance in that subject in SEE shall stand cancelled inspite of appearing the SEE.

although some might not agree ..

#jntuh, #jntua, #jntuk have got a bad name for blind evaluation over many years. most confident students are getting failed. some say that papers correction methods have faulty methodology ..

it is hightime to rectify policies & make liberal & transparent system for the papers evaluation & revaluation

could not find official representation of jntuh on the social media. Governor of the State is honorary Chancellor of the universities in the State. tried taaging Governor madam on twitter but it seems that online team has no interest to put the issues before her .. :(
