JNTUH Complete Info on Leaving of 2 Subjects and Grace Marks For Various Regulations of B.Tech

If this is the case then i am glad to know , i was unaware of this as i was not entirely living in India during my course of engineering
You need to ask for form 7 which requires you to fill in the subjects of grace and exemption. Then it's matter of time. Then you may ask exam branch for the pc and cmm later on which you can apply for Original degree via student services portal.

From past 2 years R16 students can apply for exemption & grace marks to get the memos.

List = JNTUH will send the names or hall ticket number to colleges in which they will mention the year/semester/subjects in which they can apply for grace marks and exemptions.

1 subject of 4-2 - 3 credits (Internal : 22 / External : 17 ) in which exam you got these marks ?
I got these marks in July Supply 2022

Really thank you for the replies , do you happen to know how long it will take for my request to be accepted .
Why i wanted to know about all this is that i want to be sure that this is a sure shot chance for me as i have 2-1 and 2-2 supply exams in the next month so if i can clear my engineering by this method then i would be really happy , as i would be saving my flight expenses and other additional costs.

It might take 30 to 45 working days or even more if there are more no.of pending applications at JNTUH. It would be better to write the supply exams if you get the hall ticket even after applying for grace marks/exemption. If you get the grace marks then JNTUH won't announce the results for those subjects.

It is difficult for me to travel to India right now (due to personal issues) this is why i wanted to know if this process is a guarantee or not so that i can save the hassle

Have you applied for 2-1 & 2-2 Semester Examinations ? Do you have contact numbers of your college exam cell staff ? @Muj1997
Yes i have applied for 2-1 & 2-2 Sem exams , i dont have contact numbers of the college exam cell staff but i have my brother who can visit the college.

What is the passing marks needed ? in external , can you explain ? if 10 marks are added to my external : 10+17 =27 will this be enough to clear that subject ? or passing is considered with internal and externals marks added together ?

Passing mark [Whether student get's passed or failed] is calculated both in the external exam and combination of Internal + External = Final Marks.

40 is the Pass Mark For Internal + External Combined
26 is the Pass Mark in External Exam.

Example :
Use CaseInternal MarksExternal MarksTotal Marks [Internal + External]Final Result
Use Case 104040Pass
Use Case 2132639Fail
Use Case 3202545Fail
Use Case 3142640Pass

In your scenario Internal + External + Grace marks
22 + 17 + 10 = 49 [Pass] i.e., Internal + External [22 + 27] After adding grace marks

Hi thank you for the reply , one more thing if i apply for both exemption and grace marks is it possible that the request can be rejected from jntuh for any reason ? Is there any chance of that ?
Has this happened to anybody that you are aware of ?
Or if once you are eligible as per the criteria the request is 100 percent accepted ?

I think we've discussed already about your current academic situation, which means that you're eligible for 6 credits exemption and 10 grace marks. If so then there's no chance of error or probability of application being rejected. For that process you need to make a set of 1-1 to 4-2 indicating clearly that you only have 2 3 backlogs which satisfies the ruling by University for undertaking and grace . I. E 6 creds exemption and 10 grace marks so that one may qualify

Hii sir, Iam a student of R18 series from an autonomous institution. Should autonomous engineering colleges also have to wait for the official notification of JNTUH to give the exception and grace marks to the students.
Or they can give them by there own..

I'm unaware if there's exemption rule and grace marks for R18 . Anyway if there's ruling on R18 , So first students will get list for that students need to stay updated with examination branch. And secondly one cannot go and apply atleast as of now cause there ain't such rule for Grace or exemption on R18 . Please correct me if I'm wrong.
