- Merit based Progression as described in Education Department's above mentioned Circular (1) will be implemented for regular students of Intermediate semesters in UG/Diploma courses.
- Theory component examination will be conducted for all regular/remedial/special term extension students of PG Courses and all remedial/special term extension students of UG/Diploma courses by University. Mode of conduction of this will be declared afterwards.
- It is mandatory for Institute's to do evaluation of M component and submit the marks to University through marks entry portal.
- If Internal Practical Examination (I component & Internal V component) is already conducted by Institute then the marks obtained by the students will be submitted by Institute through the mark entry portal. In this case, if the student has remained absent then Institute will have to enter absent.
- If Internal Practical Examination (I component & Internal V component) is not conducted at Institute level then Merit based Progression will be implemented and Institute will have to enter 'MP' in the marks entry portal.
- Examination of external practical/viva (V component) for all courses will be conducted by Institute's endorsed faculty except the subjects mentioned in above Circular (2).
- It is mandatory to fill the marks for external practical/viva (V) component. Remuneration will be paid only to Internal Examiner for conducting examination of external V component as per GTU norms. Further, Institute will have to submit the original hardcopy of external V component marksheet and attendance sheet to concerned exam section and remuneration hill in sealed envelope to the account section of the University.
