Extension of Duration to complete the Degree for the students admitted during specific academic years
The University has a received number of requests from the students admitted during the academic years 2006-07, 2007-08 and 2008-09, with a prayer to relax the maximum duration for completion of their course and also to permit them to appear for the University examinations. These requests are made by those students who could not complete their Degree within the maximum stipulated period by the University. Many students approached the Hon'ble High Court for relief. In many cases the Hon'ble High Court issued interim orders permitting these students to attend the classes and also to appear for the examinations.
