The amendments made to "Regulations Governing the issue of Soft Copy and Revaluation of Answer Scripts 2013" for considering the marks after revaluation as final marks vide above cited notification are withdrawn.
The details are as under:
Amendments made vide above cited notification:- STANDS WITHDRAWN
The marks after revaluation shall be considered as final marks without taking into consideration the marks obtained in the first valuation, applicable to the students admitted to various UG / PG programs of the University under CBCS Scheme.
REGULATIONS TO BE CONSIDERED AS (the extract of earlier regulation are given as ready reference:
TO BE APPLICABLE FROM JUNE/JULY 2017 EXAMINATIONS.
The final marks after revaluation shall be as follows:
1. If the revaluation marks are lesser than the original marks, the original marks shall be retained.
2. If the marks after revaluation is higher than the original marks, the revaluation marks shall be awarded upto a maximum of 15 marks.
3. If the difference of marks between first valuation and revaluation is more than 15, the script will be evaluated by a third valuer. After the third valuation, the marks will be considered on the basis of
a.Average of NEAREST TWO MARKS
OR
b. When the difference between the nearest two marks in the first, second and the third valuation is equal, then the average of HIGHER TWO MARKS
4. In any case, if the marks after Revaluation is lesser than the Marks awarded after first Valuation (original marks). the Original marks shall be retained.
