It is brought to the notice of all the Autonomous Colleges that as per Clause 6.4.3 of VTU Statutes on Autonomous Colleges (Amended) 2011 " The admission of students to courses of studies offered by the Autonomous College shall fulfill the minimum qualification laid down by the University /Council for the course of study concerned, subject to Rules of reservation for candidates belonging to scheduled Cast, Scheduled Tribe, and Backward classes as laid down by the State Government from time to time".
As per the above clause, the admission approval from VTU, Belagavi is mandatory for all students admitted to various UG and PG courses offered by Autonomous Colleges.
In this regard, you are hereby directed to conduct examination only after proper approval of the University i.e. after University Seat Number generated and notified to the Colleges.
Failing to which, if such thing is noticed by the University, suitable action will be initiated.
