It was already instructed the colleges that.
1. To install Cell/ Cameras in examination halls
2. The Principals of colleges shall be the Chief Superintendent of examinations throughout the duration of VTU Examinations,
Further, necessary instructions in respect of the same have been given by the undersigned vide Circular (2) above,
However, it is observed that, some of the colleges arc not following the instructions given in the referred circulars. Hence, the Principals of constituent and affiliated Engineering colleges are hereby directed to note that,
1. The Principals of colleges shall be the Chief Superintendent of examinations throughout the duration of VTU Examinations,
2. The Principals must execute the duties of chief superintendent.
3. In case of emergencies, citing proper reasons, the Principals shall make alternative arrangements with the prior approval of the undersigned.
4. Making alternative arrangements during the period when the principals are on duty at the college is not permitted.
5. QPDS room must be adjacent to the Principal Chamber with single entry point and must be under CCTV Surveillance.
6. Every Examination block and Lab should be under CCTV Surveillance. The footage of the same shall be maintained for at least six months in the form of external storage and the same should be submitted to the University as and when instructed to do so, if not, matter will be viewed seriously.
7. Preserve the previous examination footage in the college.
NOTE: Please make sure that, the survelence is installed with required infrastructure before 30th September 2019. A team from the University will visit each college for inspection purpose during the first/second week of October 2019, if the said facility is not made available, matter will be viewed seriously.
