Telangana State (TG) PUBLIC NOTICE by TGCHE on with holding certificates Dated on 29.04.2026
Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) : It has come to the notice of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) that:
1. Certain institutions are withholding hall tickets and preventing students from appearing for examinations on the grounds that tuition fee reimbursement has not yet been received from the Government; and
2. Certain unauthorised institutions are admitting students into various courses/programmes without obtaining the requisite approvals, permissions, or affiliations from the competent statutory authorities.
On Withholding of Hall Tickets: The Council takes serious note on denying hall tickets or obstructing students from appearing for examinations due to non-receipt of fee reimbursement from government. Such actions are wholly unacceptable and in violation of established norms.
All institutions are hereby strictly directed to ensure that no student is denied the opportunity to appear for examinations on this pretext. Any institution found indulging in such practices will face stringent disciplinary action as per applicable rules and regulations.
On Unauthorised Institutions : Students and parents are hereby cautioned to exercise due diligence before seeking admission to any institution. They are strongly advised to verify the approval, recognition, and affiliation status of the institution with the concerned Government, University, Council, or Regulatory Authority.
Admissions secured in unauthorised institutions shall be entirely at the risk and responsibility of the students/parents concerned. Degrees, diplomas, certificates, or any other qualifications awarded by such institutions may not be recognised for Higher education, Employment, Scholarships, Any official purpose.
The Council views such violations seriously, and if found admitting students without due authorisation will be liable for stringent legal and disciplinary action as per the rules in force.
Students and parents are further advised not to be misled by false advertisements, exaggerated claims, or unauthorised assurances made by such institutions.
