Telangana State Public Service Commission has released today the Notification for Group-I Services for 503 vacancies (Notification No:04/2022).
Today Commission’s meeting was held at 04:00pm under the Chairmanship of Dr.B.Janardhan Reddy, IAS(Retd.) Hon’ble Chairman TSPSC and through discussion were held in the presence of Hon’ble Members Sri.Ramavath Dhansingh, Prof B.Linga Reddy, Smt.Kotla Aruna Kumari. Smt.Sumithra Anand Tanoba. Sri Karam Ravinder Reddy, Dr. Aravelli Chandrasekhar Rao and Sri R.Satyanarayana & secretary Smt.Anita Ramachandran, AS and released the Group-I notification.
The Online Applications will be accepted online from 2nd May 2022 and the last date of receipt of Applications is 31st May 2022. The details of posts notified is as follows:

Notification Highlights
TSPSC for the first time since its inception in 2014 is issuing Group-I Notification with 95% reservation for local candidates, in view of New of Presidential Order, 2018.
1. For the first time large number of Group-I vacancies (503) notified.
2. Online applications accepted from 2nd May to 31st May 2022.
3. The Scheme of examination is two tier – Preliminary Test (Objective Type)followed by Written Test(Mains) (Conventional type).
4. The interviews for Group-I services are dispensed with*
5. Preliminary Test (Objective type) is likely to be held in July/August 2022 in all 33 Districts of Telangana State.
6. Written Exam (Mains) November/December 2022. (Conventional type) is likely to be held in November/December 2022.
7. Before applying for Group-I notification, Candidates must register in TSPSC OTR or update their OT in accordance with the new Presidential Order.
8. Candidate should have acquired the prescribed education qualification as on the date of notification.
9. EWS and Sports reservation implemented for the first time in Group-I Services.
10. Pick up from Prelims to Mains will be 50 times to the total available vacancies in each multi zone duly following the rule of reservation for community, gender, EWS. PH and Sports.
11. The Preliminary Examination will be conducted in Urdu for the first time, in addition to English and Telugu Languages.
12. Also for the first time Question Paper in Mains will also be published in Urdu Language apart from English and Telugu.
13. Commission is contemplating to provide e-question paper for the main examination instead of Printed question paper.
14. Commission is also intending to introduce digital evaluation for main examination to expedite the selection process.
