Important Note : DOST Team Congratulates all the Phase-I candidates who got seats in undergraduate courses. Sri Burra Venkatesham, IAS, Prl. Secretary to Government, Education Departmentand Commissioner of Collegiate Education & SPD-RUSA and Prof.R.Limbadri, Chairman, TGCHE & Convener, DOST declares the following details of Phase-I and the schedule of Phase–II.
The Convener declares the following details of Phase-I and the schedule of Phase–II.
1. Total Number of Candidates Registered in Phase-I: 1,04,784 candidates through the following 4 channels:
a. Aadhaar Mobile linked OTP Authentication: 94,128(89.83%)
b. DOST App Authentication: 1,722(1.64%)
c. T App Folio Photo Image Authentication (TSBIE): 2,775(2.65%)
d. MeeSeva Biometric Authentication: 6,159(5.88%)
2. Total number of candidates who gave web-options in Phase-I: 81,769
3. Total number of candidates allotted in Phase-I: 76,290
4. Total number of candidates who exercised web-options but could not get seat allotment because of their limited choice of web-options: 5,479
5. Total number of candidates who got seat allotment against first Priority: 55,124
6. Total number of candidates who got seat allotment against second priority and otherpriorities: 21,166
7. Faculty wise allotments:
i. Arts: 7,766(10.18%)
ii. Commerce: 28,655(37.56%)
iii. Life Sciences: 15,301(20.06%)
iv. Physical Science: 14,964(19.61%)
v. Data Science & AI/ML: 2,502(3.28%)
vi. D. Pharmacy: 90(0.12%)
vii. Others: 7,012(9.19%)
viii. Total: 76,290
8. Medium-wise allotments:
i. English Medium: 72,431
ii. Telugu Medium: 3,314
iii. Hindi Medium: 5
iv. Urdu Medium: 540
9. Gender-wise allotments:
i. Male: 28,423 (37.26%)
ii. Female: 47,867 (62.74%)
10. Total number of online colleges on DOST-2024: 886
11. Total number of different courses on DOST-2024: 546
12. Total number of seats (intake) on DOST-2024: 3,84,748
13. Total web-options exercised by the candidates: 3,91,973
14. Zero allotted colleges: 70
Instructions to the candidates:
i. The candidates who are allotted seats will get SMS to their registered mobiles. These candidates can also get seat allotment details in candidate login in DOST website and on demand, through WhatsApp.
ii. All the candidates who secured a seat are instructed to reserve their seat through Online Self-Reporting during 07.06.2024 to 12.06.2024, by paying Rs.500/- or Rs.1,000/- (as the case may be) in DOST Candidate Login. The students who are allotted to the Government Degree Colleges/University Colleges and who are eligible, provisionally, for ePASS fee reimbursement (after caste and income certificate verifications) need not pay any amount to reserve the allotted seat, while Online Self-reporting.
iii. If the candidate fails to reserve the seat through Online Self-Reporting, then the candidate foregoes the seat and his/her registration on DOST shall automatically be cancelled.
iv. If any candidate is looking for a better choice of seat, he/she can exercise web-options in the next phase by sliding, but after Online Self-Reporting.
v. The candidate is informed to report to the respective colleges of his/her final choice afterPhase-III allotments. If the candidate fails to report to the college during 29.06.2024 to 05.07.2024, then he/she shall forego theseat allotted/ self-reported.
Phase-II Registrations and Web-options will begin from 06.06.2024 to 14.06.2024, seat allotment on 18.06.2023
