OU Circular regarding submission of BA (Languages) (CBCS) SEC and Internal Marks - July 2024
Osmania University ( OU ) All the Oriental Languages (CBCS) College Principals are hereby informed to conduct Oriental (CBCS) B.A.(Languages)-ll, IV (Regular & Backlog) & VI (Regular) and I, III, V (Backlog) SEC-1*,2, 3**, 4 & Internal Assessment Tests to all Subjects to the eligible candidates for the Academic Year 2023-24
Note: Both Regular and Backlog (with above Titles) students should write the concerned examinations externally in the respective allotted centres as per their hall ticket. All other SEC papers to be written in their concerned colleges.
1 To conduct the above mentioned examinations in the respective subjects and upload the marks on OU website through college logins on or before 19-08-2024.
2. Maximum internal marks for all ORIENTAL LANGUAGES Programme Optional/Language and for GE are 15 marks for each assessment and 5 marks for assignment, the total internal marks (internal assessment + assignment) = 20.
3. Maximum internal marks for all UG Programme Optional paper (4 credits, which is offered in semester-VI of 2021-2022 (Regular Batch) is of 15 marks for assesments and 5 marks for assignment =20
4. Maximum internal marks for semester-VI ,Subjects are 15 marks (internal + assignment)
5. Maximum internal assessment test marks for AECC-1 & 2, SEC-1,2,3,&4 subjects are 10 for all Oriental programmes with no assignment marks
6. There is no re-conduct of internal assessment test under CBCS system.
7. D-Forms will be made available in the college logins and absent should be marked as "Ab"
8. Conduct of Internal and Assesment examination is entrusted to the principals of respective colleges by appointing Internal Examiners in consultation and with the approval of concerned subject Chairperson, Bos,, Examinations to be conducted in consultation and with the approval of concerned subject Chairperson ,Bos.
9. The Internal assessment Examination Scripts should be submitted to the Examination Branch after uploading the marks through the link provided by the Examination Branch.
10. Principals of the concerned colleges will be held responsible for entries made on the website and award lists for all the examinations held at the college.
11. Principals are instructed to display the final internal assessment test marks on notice board before uploading the marks to O.U. website.
12. Principals are instructed to check meticulously before uploading the marks online through the college logins to OU website. Marks once uploaded by the colleges are final and strictly there is no provision for any alterations.
13. Printed award list(s) along with manual D-Form should be submitted to the Examination Branch on or before 22-08-2024 If not submitted fine will be imposed after the due date.
