Osmania University (OU) With reference to the subject cited, the Government of Telangana have issued a G.O. under reference (6) cited, stating that, Schools, Colleges, Educational & Coaching Institutions will remain closed till 31.08.2020.
Therefore, all the Campus, Constituent, District PG Colleges and Affiliated Colleges under the jurisdiction of Osmania University will remain closed for classwork till 31.08.2020 to prevent and contain the spread of Covid-19 in the State of Telangana. The Libraries and Hostels & Messes will also remain closed till 31.08.2020.
However, all the Administrative Offices / units,such as the offices at Administrative Building. Examination Branch, Offices of the Principals, Deans of faculties, Directors, Heads of the Departments. Chief Warden, Librarian, etc. will function by following the instructions issued from time to time.
The teachers not holding any administrative positions will be allowed to work from home till 31.08.2020, subject to further orders, utilizing the period for various academic activities. Such teachers must be available in the headquarters and over the phone and shall attend the Colleges/Institution whenever they are called by the concerned officer, for discharing any duty including admissions related work.
