JNTUH : VII Convocation is Scheduled to be held on 09-05-2018 (Wednesday)

The VII Convocation of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) is scheduled to be held on 09-05-2018 (Wednesday) from 2 pm onwards at Jawaharlal Nehru Auditorium, JNTUH Campus, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. The Gold medal recipients and the candidates who have applied for the award of Ph.D degree certificates and who have given consent/willingness to take their gold medal or Ph.D degree certificates on the day of VII Convocation have to report on 08-05-2018 from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm at the office of Examination Branch, JNTUH, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. The degree certificates of those who have applied in respect of the B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, MS, MBA, MCA, M.Sc and other courses of the Academic Year 2016-17 will be dispatched directly to the candidates by speed post within a month after the Convocation. They need not attend the Convocation proceedings personally.

Convocation in the sense where students with highest percentage in respective branches will be awarded with gold medals & OD on stage. You can apply for OD once you you get your PC, CMM In tatkal mode if you are in urgent need of OD or else you can apply for OD after convocation notification is issued for 2018 pass outs.

Note : Each & every student should apply for OD through online after convocation notification is issued by JNTUH.
 
List of Students who achieved gold medals will be announced 3 to 4 weeks before convocation. Since you are 2018 Pass out student, convocation for your batch will be held during Dec 2018 or else in next year. Stay tuned with University Updates App/ Website to get notified regarding convocation.

There are certain set of rules & regulations to be eligible for gold medal.
