JNTUH Relaxation of promotion rules for B.Tech / B.Pharmacy Students from 1-2 Semester to 2-1 Semester and 2-2 Semester to 3-1 Semester for the A.Y 2023-24
JNTU-Hyderabad ( JNTUH ) In the Procds. (1) read above, the University has relaxed the credits for promotion to the next year of B.Tech. / B.Pharm students from 3rd year 2nd sem. to 4th year 1st sem. without any credit requirement condition for the current Academic Year 2023-24.
In view of the above, several requests received from the Students, Parents and Colleges to relax the credits for promotion to the next year of B.Tech. / B.Pharm courses for the academic year 2023-24.
The Matter was placed in the 60th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Academic Senate under item No.1 and approved the B.Tech. / B.Pharm students may be permitted relax the promotion rules from 1st year to 2nd year and 2nd year to 3rd year of B.Tech. / B.Pharm courses by securing minimum 25% of total credits for the current academic year 2023-24 only, as given below:
In pursuance of the recommendations of the Standing Committee of the Academic Senate, the Vice-Chancellor is pleased to accord permission to the Director of Evaluation to promote the B.Tech. / B.Pharm students from 1st year 2nd sem. to 2nd year 1st sem. and 2nd year 2nd sem. to 3rd year 1st sem. for the current academic year 2023-24 only.
In view of the B.Tech./ B.Pharm proposed relaxation, it is proposed for maximum of having 4 backlog subjects to promote to next ycar for the current academic year 2023-24 only for Pharm.D and Pharm.D (PB) courses.
The above relaxations shall be applicable for the academic year 2023-24 only, subject to ratification of Executive Council of the University.
