JNTU-Hyderabad ( JNTUH ) Instructions to the Research Scholars both External (part time) & Full time (FT) regarding the entry into the campus - 22nd July 2026
JNTU-Hyderabad ( JNTUH ) All Research Scholars (Full-Time and Part-Time) are expected to uphold the dignity and decorum of the University and contribute for healthy academic environment in the campus. In this regard, the following guidelines shall be strictly adhered by all Research Scholars:
1. Research Scholars (Full-Time and Part-Time) shall be allowed to enter the University campus only for academic or officially approved purposes. Unauthorized entry during odd hours is strictly prohibited.
2. Every Research Scholar shall carry a valid JNTUH Institutional Identity Card at all the times and produce it to the security personnel whenever requested. Entry into the campus without a valid Identity Card shall not be permitted under any circumstances.
3. Prior permission from the concerned Supervisor shall be obtained before visiting the campus. The purpose of the visit shall be recorded at the Main Gate at the time of entry.
4. Research Scholars shall visit only the concerned Department/Office for which permission has been granted. Unnecessary movement within the campus is strictlyprohibited.
5. Any act of indiscipline, misconduct, or unlawful activity within the University campus is strictly prohibited and the concerned supervisor will be held responsible for such indiscipline activities. Such issues will invite severe disciplinary action on the research scholar.
6. Research Scholars shall avoid unnecessary gatherings in the campus and ensure that there should not be any disturbance in the academic environment of the University.
7. Use of University facilities, including laboratories, hostels, libraries, and other common areas, shall be strictly in accordance with the University decorum and only with prior permission wherever applicable.8. Any Research Scholar found violating the above guidelines shall be liable for strict disciplinary action. Such action may include denial of entry into the campus, reporting the matter to the concerned Supervisor, suspension of campus access privileges, and initiation of further disciplinary proceedings as per the University rules.
All Research Scholars are hereby directed to strictly comply with the above instructions in the interest of maintaining discipline, safety, and a healthy academic atmosphere on the University campus.
