JNTU-Hyderabad ( JNTUH ) In the University Order (1) read above, the University has approved for adding grace marks of 0.50% of total marks as mentioned below for B.Tech. (R18 Regulations) 2018 regular, 2019 lateral entry admitted batch students and for the students admitted in previous regulations and completed fourth year in R18 regulations, without subject exemption, who are eligible to get degree in the academic year 2021-22 only:

There are several representations received from the B.Tech R18 students (other than 2018 and 2019 admitted batch Regular & Lateral Entry students) and their parents for adding the grace marks similar to R18 2018 Regular and 2019 LES admitted batch students. In the present B.Tech R18 regulations there is no chance for subject exemption as it was available to B.Tech R15 and R16 Regulations.

In a meeting with the higher authorities of the University held on 13.12.2023, it is advised that to add grace marks up to 0.50% of total marks for any number of theory subjects for all R18 B.Tech 2021-22 & 2022-23 passed out students only as mentioned below:

As per the recommendations of the Committee meeting, the Vice-Chancellor is pleased to accord permission to the Director of Evaluation for adding the grace marks up to 0.50% for any number of theory subjects for all R18 B.Tech 2021-22 & 2022-23 passed out students only (i.e maximum of 30 grace marks for regular and 23 grace marks for lateral entry students) and those who were admitted in previous regulations and completed final year in R18 regulations without subject exemption, who are eligible to get degree, subject to ratification by the Academic Senate /Executive Council.

These orders shall come into force with immediate effect for the students of JNTUH University Colleges, JNTUH Affiliated and Affiliated Autonomous Colleges.

In general, when a grace marks application doesnt get processed within 2 months means, how much more it will take exactly as per you and as you have info?

Also, the time which they say for application process 45 days or 60 days that will be counted including the application we submit in college or excluding college days only counts when college submits that application to JNTUH?

If application is rejected they will mention it early within a month of time. Time taken to issue the memos after processing grace marks application depends on the no.of pending applications at JNTUH. The timeline would be after your college submitting the applications to JNTUH.

First of all thanks for your help, updates and information regarding everything related to B.Tech and especially for R16 students including me. Today finally my PC & CMM received by college also in JNTUH Student Services Portal my PC, OD & Migration and Medium Certificates are updated with portal and i applied from online.

So, within how many days i will receive my OD, Medium & Migration Certificate?

Also, once again thank you so much for all your help and info related to my queries and all your quick responses.

Finally! Completed my B.Tech (R16) !

The timeline for my all works of certificates as follows (Attaching especially for those students who asks how many days it will take to get PC & CMM with Subject Exemeption & Grace Marks of R16):

Backlogs: M2 & M4 (R16)

Recent Exams wrote on: 1st Feb 2024 (M2) & 12th Feb 2024 (M4)

M2 Result Released on: March 2024

M4 Result Released on: 1st April 2024

Grace Marks taken in M4 (Got 17 in External and for R16 Regular Students 10 Marks can be take as Grace)

&

Exemption for M2 (4 credits subject as R16 has 6 Credits Exemption)

Day 1: Applied and Gave Application for R16 Subject Exemption (M2) and Grace Marks (M4) in College on 28th May 2024

Day 5: College submitted my application manually to JNTUH on 1st June 2024

Day 75: College recived PC & CMM from JNTUH

Day 77: JNTUH has updated Student Services Portal to apply for OD, Migration & for medium certificate.

So, it has taken me almost 77 days to get my PC & CMM after applying for Grace Marks & Subject Exemption for R16 (Regular Student).
