JNTUH Attention Principals - Eligibility criteria for teaching Value Added Courses - R25 Academic Regulations

JNTU-Hyderabad ( JNTUH ) As you are all aware, Indian Knowledge System, Gender Sensitization, Human Values and Professional Ethics, Environmental Science, Innovation and Entrepreneurship and few other courses that were offered as mandatory courses under the earlier regulations have been converted into value-added courses with 0.5/1 credit at JNTUH with the implementation of the R-25 regulations.

Only those faculty members who satisfy any one of the following criteria are eligible to teach these value-added courses:

1. The faculty member must have studied the same course or relevant course at the undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) level.

2. The faculty member must have successfully completed a certificate course in the same or a similar value-added course through a recognized MOOC platform.

3. The faculty member must have successfully completed a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) of at least one week’s duration in the relevant area, organized by UGC-HRDC / MMTTC / a renowned foundation / or the University.
