JNTUA It is to inform that vide Ref. (1), cited above, University has given permission for Ph.D./M.Phil. Research Scholars whose maximum period for submission of Dissertation/Thesis prescribed under relevant rules/regulations ordinances of the University is expired/expiring during the COVID-19 pandemic period, will be allowed to submit their Dissertation/Thesis, including completion of pending formalities within six months (ie. up to 31.12.2020) from the date of expiry of the maximum prescribed period without any fee.

In continuation to the ref. (2) cited above, UGC has further given extension of another six months for terminal Ph.D/M.Phil scholars, who were supposed to submit their thesis by 31st December, 2020 to be granted by the Universities up to 30.06.2021.

Subsequently the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor i/c vide ref. (3) cited above, has given extension period to the Ph.D./M.Phil. Research Scholars whose extension expires by 31st Dec., 2020 to submit their Dissertation/Thesis up to 30.06.2021, subject to condition that they have to pay the semester Tuition fee.
