The University has granted certain concessions in the credit based promotion rules for the B.Tech / B.Pharmacy students for the academic year 2015-16.
Certain students of various affiliated colleges (R09 and R13) have requested the University to provide concessions in the credit based promotion rules for the academic year 2016-17.
In this regard, the University has considered the request of R09 batch students and resolved to extend the credit based promotion rules mentioned in read (1) for the academic year 2016-17 also (vide read.2). Accordingly, the orders with the following ammendments are issued :
Requirements for B.Tech / B.Pharmacy Regular Students to get Promotion from II Year to III Year (Academic Year 2016-17) :
Requirements for B.Tech / B.Pharmacy Regular Students to get Promotion from III Year to IV Year (Academic Year 2016-17) :
Requirements for B.Tech / B.Pharmacy (Lateral Entry) Students to get Promotion from III Year to IV Year (Academic Year 2016-17) :
Further, it is to inform all that the request of R13 batch students is not considered and hence there are no changes in Promotion rules of R13 regulations.

- R09 : 32 Credits Secured from all the Exams (both Regular and Supplementary) conducted upto May/June 2016, excluding the Performance in II B.Tech / B.Pharmacy II Semester Examinations.
Requirements for B.Tech / B.Pharmacy Regular Students to get Promotion from III Year to IV Year (Academic Year 2016-17) :
- R09 : 54 Credits Secured from all the Exams (both Regular and Supplementary) conducted upto May/June 2016, excluding the Performance in III B.Tech / B.Pharmacy II Semester Examinations.
Requirements for B.Tech / B.Pharmacy (Lateral Entry) Students to get Promotion from III Year to IV Year (Academic Year 2016-17) :
- R09 : 34 Credits Secured from all the Exams (both Regular and Supplementary) conducted upto May/June 2016, excluding the Performance in III B.Tech / B.Pharmacy II Semester Examinations.
Further, it is to inform all that the request of R13 batch students is not considered and hence there are no changes in Promotion rules of R13 regulations.
