I am a readmitted student from R16 to R18. Examination branch at my college said to enquire about the grace marks eligibility at jntuh at the same time I haven't received any response from jntuh as well.

We, the detained students have been left clueless since a long time.

There have been released couple of grace marks eligible candidates list but i cannot find any of the readmitted student in that list including myself.

Can you please help us in knowing the proper information regarding grace marks and subject exemption etc.. of readmitted students only.

As per my knowledge readmitted students into R18 can get the grace marks. Go through the previous notifications of grace marks for R18 once & read it clearly.

If you are eligible you can apply for grace marks. Once go through the comments few readmitted students already applied for grace marks.

So here I see that lateral entry students and regular students of r18 are eligible for grace marks... but what about detained students?

Does 'lateral entry students' include Students who are detained as well??

Can you please clear this confusion.
Thanks in advance.

readmitted students are even eligible for grace marks.
"This enhancement of grace marks shall be applicable to only for B.Tech. (R18 Regulations) 2018 regular, 2019 lateral entry admitted batch students and for the students admitted in previous regulations and completed fourth year in R18 regulations, without subject exemption, who are eligible to get degree in the academic year 2021-22 only."

Thank you so much for the appropriate information.

So, i have four backlogs in total
1. Two subjects in R16 which i am supposed to clear at any cost.

2. Two subjects in R18 which i have already written previously like mentioned below
a. Obtained 15 marks external + 18 marks in internal
b. Obtained 21 marks external + 10 marks in internal

So, i can apply for grace marks for the above two mentioned subjects once i clear r16 subjects right?

Or

How many marks can I add to the above mentioned R18 subjects as grace marks?

Hope you'll answer my last question.

Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.

1. Yes clear them

2.
a. 8 grace marks can be added
b. 16 grace marks can be added

Total 24 grace marks.

Yes once you clear the other subjects of R16 you can apply for grace marks but try to clear as early as possible. Give a try for the above R18 2 subjects in special supply exams hope you might clear them.

Oh god! ‍♂️

The subject in which i got 15+18 internal(HEAT TRANSFER) is on the same day of R16 subject(DYNAMICS OF MACHINERY).

I think i need to have atleast 20 marks in heat transfer to add grace marks.

It's Okay. I'll give my best of best this time.

Can't thank you enough for this ❤️
