APJAKTU Upon discussing the issue of students who were in year out status in the previous years and considering the fact that such students are losing the examination chance in the even semester of 2019-20 on account of restrictions due to COVID pandemic, the Syndicate resolved to permit all students who are/will be in year out status, to be promoted to the odd semester commencing in the academic year 2020-21. It was also resolved that the Academic Council will make necessary amendments in the existing regulation. Vide order read as (3) sanction was accorded for the promotion of students to higher semesters by waiving the minimum credit requirements for the academic year 2020-21.

Sanction is therefore accorded by the Vice Chancellor, by invoking clause in Chapter - III, Para 14 (5) of the University Act 2015, to promote all students, who are/will be in year out status, to the odd semester commencing in the academic year 2020-21.

The Ordinances / Regulations read (4) to (7) stands relaxed accordingly for the academic year 2020-21. This relaxation of stipulations in academic regulations of concerned UG/PG programmes, on minimum credit requirement for promotion to higher semesters, is valid only for the Academic year 2020-21.

Orders are issued accordingly.
