APJAKTU It has come to the notice of the University that some students registered for PG courses affiliated to the university have engaged in malpractices in preparing project report/thesis by indulging in plagiarism. Severe penal, administrative and academic action has been taken by the University against such students and the supervisors concerned.
Since plagiarism in project report/thesis amounts to cheating the University and the public at large, the University has decided to eradicate such malpractices in future by taking severe measures.
All Heads of institutions, supervisors and students are hereby informed that plagiarism is not resorted to in project/thesis work, failing which severe penal, administrative and academic action would be taken by the University against all concerned.
Heads of institutions shall communicate this circular to all concerned and take up the responsibility to ensure that complaints of plagiarism do not recur.
