The request from students to reduce the activity point was presented in the Syndicate Standing Committee on Academics and Research held on 2/6/2021. The committee discussed the matter resolved to recommend the following (vide paper read as (1)):

1. The requirement of activity points for the 2017-21 batch may be reduced to 75 instead of 100 and for the lateral entry students, the number of activity points may be reduced to 75% of the total activity points stipulated for them.

2. Online activities conducted under the supervision of faculty members shall also be considered for activity points and associated updations of Activity Points in the University portal shall be permitted till 30.06.2021. The Syndicate upon considering the recommendations of the Syndicate Standing Committee on Academics and Research resolved to approve the above recommendations vide paper read as (2) above.
