The Vice-Chancellor, having considered the minutes 1st cited, has approved the Revised Academic Calendar for I/IV and II/IV B.Tech (I & II Semesters of all branches) course for the academic year 2016-2017. The revised academic schedule is as follows:

I Semester

• Date of commencement of class work : 22-06-2016
• Commencement of First Mid-Term examinations : 26-08-2016
• Dasara Holidays : 07-10-2016 to 13-10-2016
• Last instruction day : 12-11-2016
• Commencement of Second Mid-Term examinations : 14-11-2016
• Preparation Holidays : 21-11-2016 to 26-11-2016
• Commencement of University Theory examinations : 28-11-2016
• Commencement of University Practical examinations : After Theory examinations.

II Semester

• Date of commencement of class work : 13-12-2016
• Pongal holidays : 12-01-2017 to 16-01-2017
• Commencement of First Mid-Term examinations : 06-02-2017
• Last instruction day : 01-04-2017
• Commencement of Second Mid-Term examinations : 03-04-2017
