15th Annual Convocation of VTU is Scheduled on 27th May 2016

It is hereby informed that the Fifteenth Annual Convocation of VTU is scheduled to be held on Friday, the 27th May 2016, at 11-00 a.m., in the Auditorium of VTU, "Jnana Sangama", Belagavi. The awardees of degree are hereby cordially invited to attend the Convocation.

The candidates are required to note the following:
The candidates shall :

• Be present in the Auditorium with neat white dress only.
• Occupy the seats in the Auditorium al least half an hour earlier to the commencement of Convocation function.
• Stand up when His Excellency the Chancellor enters the hall and occupies the chair.
• Maintain silence and discipline throughout the/unction.
• Switch off mobile phone in the premises.
• Not to leave their position till His Excellency the Chancellor leaves the hall after the function is over.

Degree will be awarded by His Excellency the Governor of Karnataka, only for Gold Medalists and First Rank Holders in the Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programmes and Ph.D awardees during the academic year 2014-15, at the time of Convocation. Others who wish to collect the Degree Certificates personally, can collect them from the Office of the Registrar (Eval.) after the Convocation Ceremony on 27th May itself, or on 28th May during the office hours on producing valid identity card issued by the college. For others, the certificate will be sent by Post immediately after the Convocation.
