As per the R13 regulations, in the rule 6.3. " When a student is detained for lack of credits / shortage of attendance, he may be re-admitted into the same semester / year in which he has been detained. However, the academic regulations under which he was first admitted shall continues to be applicable to him".
In this connection, it is informed to all the Principals of Affiliated Colleges of JNTUK that the students (who are detained for lack of credits / shortage of attendance and re-admitted) must be study the subjects of prescribed syllabus only. Hence there is no need to allot the substitute subjects and student must study the same subjects prescribed in his regulations.
