In continuation of University letter cited, the Managements of all affiliated colleges (Private Unaided/Private Aided/Government/ Autonomous) under the jurisdiction of Osmania University offering Under Graduate courses such as B.A/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA/BCA and other Under Graduate (Professional/non professional) Courses are hereby directed to install Biometric machines in their respective colleges on or before 31-10-2018 where the sanctioned intake is more than 300 (all the years put together, according to the duration of the course). Failure to comply with the above directions of the University will be viewed seriously and disciplinary action will be initiated against the college as per norms.
The Biometric system machines may be procured from the Telangana State Technology Services Ltd., BRKR Bhavan, C-Block, Tank Bund Road, Hyderabad a Corporation owned by the Govt. of Telangana as per the norms and conditions as prescribed.
In this connection, the Executive Council at its 149th meeting held on 20-06-2018 has resolved "to increase the Examination fee collected from students for all the courses by Rs.100/- per Semester over and above the present Examination fee towards implementation of Biometric System in all those college including Government/Aided with a strength of more than 300 students to start with".
