    Under Graduate Courses(B.A/B.Com/B.Sc/B.B.A/B.C.A and B.H.M & C.T)- Andhra University - Facility Provided for Visually Handicapped, Hearing impaired and Orthopedically Handicapped candidates in all UG Courses of Andhra University

    The Vice Chancellor is pleased to ordered that the annual procedure be adopted to semester system regarding providing facilities for Visually handicapped, Hearing Impaired and Orthopedically handicapped candidates in all UG Courses of Andhra University as detailed below :

    Visually Handicapped Candidates :
    1. Reduction of pass marks from 26 marks to 19 marks (Maximum marks 75) & 20 marks to 15 marks (Maximum marks 50) (35% to 25%(10%)) On theory and 40 marks to 30 marks (Maximum marks 100) on aggregate (10%) for all subjects of each semester (Grace and grafting as per previous procedure awarding divisions will be as per usual procedure)

    2. The scribe should be degree standard in subject other than the papers for which the candidate is appearing.

    3. Exemption from payment of examinations and exemption fees.

    4. 20 minutes per hour extra time.


    Hearing Handicapped/Impaired candidates :
    1. Reduction of pass marks from 26 marks to 19 marks (Maximum marks 75) & 20 marks to 15 marks (Maximum marks 50) (35% to 25%) On theory and 40 marks to 30 marks (Maximum marks 100) on aggregate (10%) for all subjects of each semester (Grace and grafting as per previous procedure awarding divisions will be as per usual procedure)

    2. Exemption from payment of examinations and exemption fees.

    3. Exemption of one Language

    4. 30 minutes extra time.


    Orthopedically Handicapped candidates :
    1. The scribe should be degree standard in subject other than the papers for which the candidate is appearing.

    2. Exemption from payment of examinations and exemption fees.

    3. Providing of scribe to those who are in capable of using hands due to accident, illness and duly supported by the Medical certificate.

    4. 30 minutes extra time.

    5. 20 minutes per hour those do not have both upper limbs or deformity in both upper limbs in orthopedically handicapped category who require scribe assistance.
