APJAKTU : Addendum orders were issued to the Proceedings No.KTU/AR(ACADEMIC-1)/1011/2016 dated 18/12/2018. In the addendum order, which was issued based on the resolution of the Academic Council vide item no.003.3.03: Grace marks for differently abled students, it was mentioned that : the disability certificates used by the CEE / issued by the District Medical Boards shall be considered for awarding the Grace marks. The cases other than those mentioned in the order shall be considered based on their merit, with the approval of the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor on the recommendations of the Controller of Examinations.
Vide reference cited 2 above, the Academic Council after discussion and deliberation on item no.008.2.07: Proposal of guidelines for Grace Marks submitted for consideration, concluded that: " In case of any other disability , of more than 60%, duly certified by the District Medical Boards, students will be eligible for Grace marks".
Orders are hereby issued that the addendum Proceedings No.KTU/AR(ACADEMIC1)/1011/2016 dated 10.06.2019, clause 9, and second half of the second paragraph, is modified to the extent.
Orders are hereby issued accordingly.
